Ashland went on the road and came away with an impressive victory over Russell, 74-39. Lady Kittens led 38-24 at half before starting the 2nd half on a 16-0 run to put the game on ice. Ashland's discipline and defensive pressure overwhelmed the Red Devils during the pivotal 3rd quarter. 

Coach Davis is one of the premier coaches in eastern Kentucky and building something special at Ashland. Their demanding early season schedule is starting to pay dividends as they head into tournament play.  I expect these two will play again in the the tournament.
