Well the cards got it down either way you look at it. Won’t be too critical on this game because I heard some flashback from the game yesterday. I want to clear up and say that I love my cards and don’t want to hurt any of the players. Nice seeing coach Crum back and the suspended Davis will be back Friday for JC. I love my cards and we will see them at Rupp in March.

Cards struggle defensively without Davis. Glad he’s back next game as he is a leader on the court. Mills stepped up big with 5 or 6 threes I believe. Young guys came in and played solid due to a foul fest. Never seen some home cooking like that before. 3 technicals, 2 team and 1 coach for taking up for his players.

Russell kid is a Legitimate ball player. Kids tough. Had to have close to 40 tonight. Half were free throws but still kid is a hustler. Fights for rebounds and gives his all.

Foul Count was 26-9 before magoffin started fouling at the end.
Free throws were 26-10 and Russell shot 20 of them himself.
Officials in the region are absolutely awful after you get outside the top 4 or 5 guys.

That was an impressive district win on the roads for the cards.  They're defensive and rebounding needs better but they're offensive looked solid.  The refs called very very questionable calls on both sides on the court.  But what stood out to me was the foul count Russell shot more free throws than the whole Martin county team did combined. Don't get me wrong Russell is very talented and gets in the paint anytime he wants but wasn't enough for them to pull out the win against Martin county cards.  Martin county has a tough game Friday against JC another district game and the cards need to come out strong.

Didn't watch the game but from when I've watched Martin County this season, they shoot a lot of 3's. Not going to be shooting a lot of free throws when that's your game plan.

This was a close game for the cards having a close game with a bottom 2 15th region team that almost lost to east ridge.
