This is the game where we find out if Pikeville will be able to make any noise in the weakest 15th region in memory. Valley is a tough place to play, but perfect time and place for the Panthers to step up.

Agreed, i do think Pikeville is the superior team but it’s at Shelby Valley so anything can happen.

I read the original plan was for this game to be played at the Virgie High School gym, but plans changed. Maybe next season they can play a game there. Love those old gym throwback games.

Shelby Valley by 8. Hopefully the rumors that were started on here about Taylor only being there for a year was just a lie because if left alone, he can have Shelby Valley contending again for a region title in a year or two.

I would pay $100 to see SV and Pikeville play in the Virge gym with throwback Virgie and Pike High unis and not even care who wins. Somebody please make this happen.

It would be a throwback and that’s for sure. But I can only imagine how bad the court is.
