Thought Breathitt had a good effort in this one. They tried to be physical and Sperry was relented trying to get the win but Hazard just has too many weapons. And today those weapons weren't as sharp but still put out the win. Had not realized this was their 3rd matchup with another one to end the season. They can play 5 times total if they meet in the region. No way I would want to play a team 5 times in a season.

Big first round game in state agains Green County. Should be a good match up.

They pushed it to a double-digit lead but Breathitt made some shots late and Hazard missed free throws down the stretch.
Breathitt had several good looks from deep late but couldn't get them to fall.

breathitt looks out of shape. They were struggling for air. Looked worn out and said as much after game I guess. Gotta work on conditioning especially if you are only going to sub 1-2 players. One of them that hasn’t played  much lately and other got 3 fouls in a row and put hazard in bonus. And you put one in the 4th quarter for first time so not even sure the point there. Even sperry needs to sit sometimes.  He would play better st the end if he did.
