I figured valley would win.Jonah Bartley is a heck of a player kid hit many 3s tonight and a heck of a defender.

Jonah Bartley with 33 and Brady Johnson with 23 to lead the Wildcats. When Bartley gets hot he can shoot with anyone in the region. Brady Johnson has improved (was already good) from game 1 to now, he looks smoother and more settled in, after having to miss most of last season. Shelby Valley will be a tough out for the Paintsville / Belfry winner.

Bartley shot lights out! Johnson is more confident than I have ever seen him.

BL down a starter and it showed. Got to get back healthy.

What a game! Betsy Layne has nothing to hang their head about. They played a good game but SV just played better. IMO Shelby Valley is a bad match up for BL. They are taller and longer at pretty much every position and they play in your face defense. Jonah Bartley shot lights out and Brady Johnson is just scratching the surface of the ball player he can be. I would guess Johnson had to be close to a triple double with assists and rebounds. Anxious to see if they get a rematch with Paintsville on a neutral court or go against the D&D all star team. Either way if they play like they did tonight they will be playing for an All A region championship.
