Letcher Central 75 Bellevue 47
#1
Letcher Central's Cougars led by 9 at the half. They turned up the "D" and were up by 20 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Devin Blair missed a double double by one assist(14 points, 9 assist). Charlie Banks missed a double double by one rebound( 18 points, 9 rebounds). Jordan Reynolds had 17 points and Josh Profitt continued his deadly 3-point shooting and wound up with 15 points. The Cougars are improving and can be a force to be reckoned with in the 14 th region if they continue their aggressive defense and unselfish team play

Congrats LCC

LCC didn't play very well tonight either IMO!~ A win is a win though....

They looked sloppy at times, but the offense seemed to really be flowing well for most of the game.

I love to watch this team play. When little Josh Profitt lights it up, I can't help but cheer for him. Congrats to the Cougars.

lcc does not impress me at all. they do just like they done in football. they play these little schools, beat the crap out of them, and then look for everyone to respect them. in order for me to call themn a good team they will have to be someone that is even half way good.

Congrats LCC, I have some friends up there.

i have seen them play and they do pretty good against these little teams but what happens when they come up aginst a halfway good ball team. when ever this happens then check back with me and ask me the same thing.

Name some halfway decent teams and then I will get back to you. My impression of those may differ from your views.

Daviess County not a good club?McCreary central not a good club?. The last time I looked North Laurel was winning( beat South laurel) . Knott Co finished 2nd in the Gatlinburg tourney. East Ridge off to their best start ever. Even Bellevue was 5-1 coming in to this tourney. In these days of parity, anyone can beat anyone on a given night. Enjoy each team and the efforts that they give. Life is much sweeter that way.

daviess and mccreary central i agree r bad teams. east ridge has beaten teams i could proboley beat by myself and bellevue has played some very weak competition as well thats wy they were 5 and 1 coming in. and knott county had a bad game against lcc and came out with a victory on the road. north laurel beat lcc as well

Man you must be a great player. You still haven't named any teams.

Congrats LCC! It may not have been the prettiest thing in the world but LCC got the job done. They played well enough to win in each game this week. LCC also seemed to pick up some much needed momentum this past week by winning 3 in a row in route to claiming the title in their own invitational tournament. With those 3 wins LCC improved their record to 6 - 5 and pulled above 500 for the first time this year. They will need that momentum this week though, has they play two of the 14th's finest, both on the road, in JBS & Cordia! Good luck LCC!
