Actually watched that game. Harlan is a little better than I thought they would be but Corbin also is wayyyyy off previous years. This year should belong to NL or KC and no one else within striking distance. Thought SL would be better, only 1 game in but they are looking for leadership right now. Bell will be tough.

I just don’t see Knox beating North. I think North is hands down the best team in the region with one of the best coaches in the state. There are a lot of young teams in the 13th region, some of which are loaded with talent but they don’t have the coaching staff needed to get them where they could be. Time will tell but I think North will be your 13th region champs again this year…easy.

I just don’t see Knox beating North. I think North is hands down the best team in the region with one of the best coaches in the state. I agree 100% its NL to lose. The only thing is I think personally that if you get Brooke into foul trouble(and very possible with her style of play) then they are very beatable. But I'm not buying KC just saying they are one of the better teams in the region. I thought SL was right there with them but right now I think Bell is better.

Brooke is such a disciplined player I don’t think that will be an issue. I don’t see that being a close match up at all. I know a lot of ppl won’t agree with that but I just don’t see it.  I’ve not seen Bell play this year. I had a feeling south would struggle. Not only did they lose the mills girl they also lost a great coach. I don’t understand the move for the mills girl. I feel like she was much better off at south. Time will tell I guess. I watched Whitley team play Owsley last night on a live stream. I look for him to lose some of those kids based on what I saw last night. Maybe I’m wrong but my gut says I’m not.

I agree wholeheartedly, NL with Nicholson should run away with it. But if she gets in foul trouble there are several teams that can beat them. Mills left because she is chasing her mom’s dream. And Whitley I agree as well. A couple of those girls inquired about elsewhere in the summer and probably regret not leaving, or will soon.

I agree with you NL is by far the favorite, Eddie does a great job best in the region in my opinion BUT if one team in the region is built to beat them I think it’s Knox, don’t know if that can get pass all the “drama” around their program. NL plays Knox 10 times they win 8 of them but all it takes in region play is 1.

NORTH LAUREL proved today that they are hands down #1. Just wow. What an impressive win.

I am quite biased this year in girl's basketball!!  That gorgeous young woman, assistant coach, on HC's bench, is currently carrying the 7th great grandchild that will be born in my family next year.
