Would anyone be interested in doing a pick em style contest like we do in the football forum?
Obviously a lot more basketball games than football, would be kindly tough to keep up with, but I have quite a bit of downtime at my job so I am on here on an everyday basis.
If anyone would be interested, what would be a good format to do this? Wouldn't want to do every single game in the surrounding regions, maybe pick out a few key or big time games from 13th-16th region and go from there. If anyone has any better ideas put them on here, would be pretty fun to get this going for basketball as well.

Oh I think this is a great idea stat!!!
I'm not sure what format would be better to use. Obviously, you would want folks to choose a winner, but naming the score wouldn't be practical.
The only thing I can say is, that for football Pick'Ems, I keep a spread sheet on excel so I can always see the individual week's scoring as well as an accumulative total for the participants.
I think YOU should host this!! Let me know if I can help. You need to think of another aspect besides the score, for folks to choose. Something like, how many free throws/team, etc.

I would love to, but I also know it would be tough to do on my own due to work/life getting in the way sometimes, but if anyone else wants to chime in on any good ideas, lets hear em.

Anyone w/ any ideas on how we could do this? I know the season started last night but was wanting to put something together today, especially for the games tonight and then for the weekend. Only thing I can think of is just picking some key games or rivalry games throughout the week and just posting them all at one time instead of separately, then tallying up all the scores after that week's games are over. Could even do a game of the week like the football contest, maybe instead of predicting the final score, maybe do the combined points between both teams, whoever, then tally up who is the closest. That's the only thing I can come up with, again if anyone has any better or innovative ideas lets hear em, also if anyone would be willing to help just let me know on here or PM me and we can brainstorm. I'd really love to get this going, just something fun to do for all of our members on here.
