No arguments here. 1-4 are what I think they should be. There’s an argument that Cville should be at 2 since they played Pikeville closer than Raceland last year, that being said, based on this years body of work, that’s where I would have everyone. Until someone from 1A beats Raceland or Pikeville, hard to put anyone other than those two above one or the other imo. And Pikeville won the head to head in this years regular season match up between the two. I think the top 4 are the final 4, if they don’t see each other before that point of course. There’s a chance Raceland and Pikeville end up playing for a regional championship and one of the two not even making the final four though.

Goiing to be interesting to see how the RPI plays out after the final 2 weeks of the season. I know it is a terrible way to do it but teams know it beforehand. Teams have different philosophies on how to manage it and it is hard to argue one way or another. It all depends on the team. One side will play a tougher schedule which of course hurts their RPI but prepares them for the playoff run. It does makes their run a bit tougher though as they may have a road game or meet up with another top team early. On the other side, some will schedule so they will have a better RPI and maybe not as tough schedule but those teams have a better chance for a home game during playoffs and maybe an easier run to advance. Hard to argue either side as it benefits both sides. Either way, it does make for some interesting matchups early that opens the door for another team to sneak in.
