Read that Kentucky had the ball inside the Vanderbilt 30 yard line five times but only came away with 13 points.
This loss itself I could take, but the way we lost was just incredibly frustrating.
This is the same Vanderbilt team that beat Alabama, but it's also the same one that lost to Georgia State (who is now 2-3 on the season).

I agree CJ it was the way we lost, that got me to.
We all know there are no easy games in the SEC, especially this year. Vandy does usually play us tough anyway. I knew we could lose this game. We just kept shooting ourselves in the foot! lol
Plus we had a bye week leading up to this game. That's a extra week to prepare.
Hoping we bounce back from this loss like we did after the South Carolina loss.
We play Georgia to with in one point. Then we beat Ole Miss. Vandy plays Mizzou tough, loses in OT, I think. Vandy proceeds to knock off #1 Alabama. Vandy beats UK. Before all that they lose to Alabama St or Georgia St. I can't remember what the name of that school was for certain. Like CJ said they're 2-3.
That little school that beat Vandy earlier in the year, was making a case they should be ranked #1. After Vandy knocked off Alabama!
They weren't serious, they were just cutting up and having some fun with it
College football has already been a roller coaster up to this point. Still a good ways to go!

Like I've said in past threads, most recently after the Ole Miss win, I'll always hope for the best and expect the worst when it comes to Kentucky Football, and here is the prime reason as to why.
Not taking anything away from Vanderbilt, sitting nicely at 4-2 with a win against #1 Bama to their name, and 2nd straight win in Lexington now, first time since early 90's I think it was. But Vanderbilt? Vandy? We can't beat freaking Vanderbilt?? @Cactus Jack I'm just like you, not really that they lost but more so how they lost it. Different song but the same tune so to speak, undisciplined football, back breaker penalties, no sense of urgency on offense, poor poor poor clock management, most importantly? NO ACCOUNTABILITY! NONE! That starts with the head coach or lack thereof. Even tho I was happy they beat Ole Miss, that's why I didn't get overly excited. Absolutely piss poor preparation coming off a bye week, guess Stoops was taking too many pulls of Blantons during bye week!
I've defended him a lot in his 12 years at the helm, but those days are over for me, even if they are able to turn this around and somehow salvage this season? Which will be highly doubtful, but I am done defending him. Where's Jon Sumrall when you need him? I'd be making the call to him yesterday.
