Gabe Burchell has been announced as the head baseball coach at Magoffin County. Much needed from a program that won 3 games last year. Burchell moves over from the middle school, which has been much better under him.

Good hire but old news power that be had all but announced him before Mr. Litteral was fired. He will have rough couple of years then as his middle school kids mature then he should be competitive for a few years, if the real youg groups continue to embrace baseball like they seem to be now he could sustain at least a competitive program.

I agree it's old news, that had pretty much been decided after the middle school beat the high school in a scrimmage.
