This is the boxing match that is getting a lot of attention. The fight is scheduled for July 20th. It's 27 year-old Jake Paul vs 57 year-old Mike Tyson. What is your thoughts on this whole situation? Who you got?

My wife wants to watch this one so I'll be watching it too lol! I normally watch whatever college football game is on Friday nights. While I've got the radio tuned into highschool football.
Mike Tyson is still Mike Tyson. A older not in his prime Tyson is still dangerous. He's probably forgotten more about boxing, than most of the earth's population will ever know.
Hat's off to Jake Paul for taking this fight. In all honesty the Paul brothers are tough. They're smart for how they've changed boxing. Some people don't like it but the Paul brothers are smart when it comes to seeing dollar signs. Who would've ever imagined amateur fighters fighting former pros and celebrities. Turned out to be a serious money maker of a game changer.
Idk who wins this. Hard for me to pick against Tyson. I just hope this fight isn't fixed or staged. In a serious fight I believe Tyson wins despite his age or health. I maybe way wrong on this. Regardless Hat's off to both fighters for taking this fight. I'll be watching for entertainment purposes. Doesn't really matter to me who wins.

I know the coverage starts at 8:00. What time does Tyson fight? I'm really not interested in the undercard fights.

I might just go about my business of watching football. Then have my wife holler at me when the main event is about to start lol
The first fight was crap. I was really hoping that cocky acting guy who kept throwing his arms in the air, letting down his guard, acting cocky, dry humping his opponent, would get knocked out lol! He ended up winning. The next time he steps in the ring, schedule him for the biggest baddest guy in the weight class. Then we'll see how cocky he acts!
Anyway there was a count down clock that come up on the screen for a minute. Counting down to the Tyson vs Paul fight. It was scheduled for a little less than two hours. That was a few minutes ago lol
Second fight was a battle! Heck of a fight!
Hat's off to both fighters.
It was ruled a split draw. Not sure anyone really lost but the guy who had the belt retained it.

Awesome ladies fight!
Not sure they got the decision right. The lady that lost threw more punches and landed more punches, had a higher landing ratio, she still lost. For the life of me I don't understand how a lot of these big fights are scored.
Idk about the head butts if they were intentional or not. The lady who lost was the one who got head butted and man that cut looked bad. Her camp was rightfully upset about it. I did get tired of hearing her manager or whatever whine about it. Although I do understand his frustration.
Heck of a fight, those two ladies are tough and awesome fighter's, two absolute legends.
About 20 some minutes until the Tyson and Paul fight!

Well lol
Hat's off to Tyson for getting in the ring at his age.
Hat's off to the Paul brothers for their business savvy. Congrats to Jake on the win. Both fighters made millions for just stepping in the ring, so I'm sure Mike doesn't care about the outcome.
This fight had the feel to me of a boring WWE match. I believe either of the lady fighters in the match before would have beaten Paul and Tyson!
I respect Paul's genius when it comes to making money. I do believe if he wants to commit to boxing, he needs to work his way through the ranks. Fight people who are not aged and are in the shape of their lives, like him. Try to work his way up to a title shot.
In all honesty, Paul doesn't have to do those things. He will make more money doing things the way he's doing them. The Paul brothers are sitting on a gold mine. I wish them the best. Tyson is still a boxing legend.
I'd like to see the Paul Brothers and some of their guys fight some of the toughman and rough n rowdy top fighters, maybe in a event. Then I might watch one of his fights again. Good night tonight for the most part, till the main event

Just read where Mike Tyson almost died a couple of months ago. Had to have several blood transfusions, lost a lot of weight. After this he was back to training for this fight.
So just a few months after all that took place, he was back in the ring, last night vs Paul. Much respect to Tyson, still stepping in the ring, after all he went through. Which I believe we all would've definitely understand if he didn't.
If this fight was in Tysons prime or even close to his prime, we all know the results would've been totally different. Last night was painful to watch, especially after knowing this now. Tyson, one of the best to ever put on the gloves, Legendary.
Be interesting in seeing what the Paul brother's do next. They definitely know how to make things happen, especially the dollar signs. The sky really seems to be the limit for those guys.

Back when I was a youngster, I enjoyed boxing. Not so much, anymore. Always rooted against Ali, back in the day. Muhammed was the smartest fighter of all time. The rope-a dope strategy against the powerful Foreman was brilliant. My favorite fight was the Douglass-Tyson fight. Buster was absolutely brilliant. Fought one of the best fights I've ever seen. He was a 42-1 underdog and simply dominated Mike with those precision jabs, setting up those right hands. He was the first person that Mike had faced that Tyson couldn't bully. Buster was the aggressor all night. He was bigger than Mike, had a HUGE reach advantage, trained hard for the fight, and executed a brilliant strategy to perfection. Never backed down from Iron Mike. Just a brilliant performance.

I mainly follow Toughman and Rough N Rowdy. Then amateur boxing where they compete for state titles and stuff. The only professional fights I watch are the guys just starting out in the pros. Once you get into big money fights it just seems to turn into a circus, to me anyways lol
In all honesty I believe the Tyson vs Paul fight was fixed. Idk how many times I watched Paul let his guard down right in front of Tyson. I honestly believe Tyson could've still ended that fight anytime he wanted. Nothing against Paul that's just my honest thoughts about it.
I wouldn't doubt the reason Tyson kept chewing on his gloves, was to keep from laying into Paul lol
There's some really good amateur fighter's from the tri state region, KY, WV, and Ohio. I'm definitely pulling for those fighters.
