Wow Perry is starting to improve at just the right time!

Beverly has been gone since the previous Hazard/Perry game

This was a double digit game at one time. Props to Perry for not quitting and pushing for a late run. I also feel Hazard took the foot off the gas too soon. And yes that is Hazard's style. Still gotta give Perry credit for almost coming back to win the game.

I would not want to draw Perry in the regional. Coming on really strong at the right time.

Final score a lot closer than what the game really was.

Hazard is just so tough. I really think it's going to take a big effort to beat them come tournament time.
They really don't turn the ball over and they're so efficient offensively. Defensively they are going to come at you.
The 14th Region has their hands full with the Bulldogs.
Perry needed that to show them they aren't too awfully far away. I think this is going to be a great tournament season.

I mean is it really anyone’s business why he quit?

Seems like he’s been point guard for pcc for 10 years. I don’t think it’s coming from a malicious intent but I agree with most that I’d like to know what’s going on with him. Seems like a good kid.

The kid doesn't want to play basketball right now.
There's a lot of pressure on these kids to go out and perform and live up to whatever expectations. Then you have people on here wanting to know what are most likely personal details of their lives while their brain isn't even fully developed yet.
I'm sure there are better ways to stick your nose in someone's business instead of asking strangers on the internet.

Well hope he don’t screw around and regret it when it’s over. You only get one shot at highschool sports and when it’s over it’s over. Wish him the best with whatever he chooses. Sometimes kids just need to stay off social media and have fun. Highschool sports suppose to be fun and competitive.

I quit on sports (granted I wasn't that great) but looking back I definitely regret not sticking it out and trying to earn my spot when I was an upperclassmen.
It put me on a different trajectory and I can't complain about the other things I was able to explore with my free time, but you're right, you only get one shot to make it everything you want.
It isn't something I lose sleep about because there's a lot more to life, but I definitely encourage kids to get everything they want out of it while the opportunity is there.

It does not matter why he left it’s his decision respect it and move on.

Why are people like you on here gladiator? Are you just pulling for the name on the jersey or do you not care about the young men wearing them. People asking simple questions about a player that they’ve been watching for years isn’t the problem. People like you that act like they don’t care with the decisions these young men make is detrimental to their careers and future.

There's two sides to this and I don't think everyone is fully understanding either side.
People can ask whatever they want to ask; it's a free country. It's understandable to want to know what's going on. We are curious creatures.
But it seems like some people think they are entitled to know what's going on with a kid who doesn't know them from Adam.
You would think if the kid or the family wanted it blasted on here, it would already be here by now with how many times its been asked.
I think "respect his decision and move on" is a perfectly reasonable take.
