They must realize that Darius Miller is gonna win Mr. Basketball so no reason to play him the whole game.

drove out to see this one...yes stepp and gay played the whole game. garrison got in foul trouble early. buckhorn came ready for this game after a bad loss to betsy lane. buckhorn lead the 1st and 2nd halves and had a 2 point lead at half time. jbs got in some foul trouble and got a little shaken up with not expecting this, but they were ready when they came out for the 3rd which is where the game took a turn. lots of turnovers by both teams the 3rd and 4th quarter and free throws missed on both ends. last 2 quarters were a little sloppy and run and gun. don't know the stats though. decent game though with not such a lopsided margin. congrats on the win jbs. keep your head up buckhorn, you played hard

without doubt the worst officiated game i have ever seen. I thought the refs were absolutley going to take the game away from jbs. I dont mind losing I just dont want to be cheated, And also dont want to cheat anyone else. I was also proud to see the two teams together in prayer after the game.

jbs was run and gun. i guess they wanted to try to get a big margin or something like the previous games they had played.

Kind of surprised by the final. JBS may lose a lot of respect from the Lexington and Louisville papers, cause they evidently overlooked a weak Buckhorn team.

Im guessing you have never seen Buckhorn play.They really aint a weak team, yes they got beat by a weak BL team but from what I heard not all the calls when the right way.Buckhorn is a team to watch out for in the 14th, the season just started they will be ready in March.

JBS better be prepared for a very good Cordia team next week.

Sorry for taking a lot of credit away from Buckhorn, but I did think they where a weak team since they did lose to Betsy Layne at a neutral site. But I still think JBS should have won this game by much, much more.

Buckhorn played with alot of intensity and if they play like that they will have a good season. JBS shot less than 30 % in the first half and Collins only played 4 minutes in the 1st half. He doesnt score alot of points but can change the game with his defense. I thought Blank played great for Buckhorn and Short played awesome for JBS with the absence of Collins and Hall for most of the game. He probably had 12-14 rebounds and played good defense. It was a good effort by both teams and I think both teams will do well this season.

I understand what you are saying but beating a team by 19 within a region is not an easy thing to do. Sometimes the rivalry factor plays a big part in games like this. Buckhorn will have a good team as the season goes on and they are very well coached and always play with alot of intensity. I guess it is a compliment though when a team wins by 19 and people think that it should be more. Good luck to both teams this year.

They won by 19 how did the refs almost take it away from them? But anyways congrats to both teams for a tough game.

Buckhorn had it until the 3rd quarter and whenever they started playin jbs's game in the run and gun, it went downhill from there. Buckhorn wasnt able to make shots in the stretch and thats wat hurt them.

Most teams think they have a big win, if they win by 19 points. Why would they loose respect?
