Johnson Central 43 Rowan County 8

JC moves to 2-0 in district play. Carter Conley had a really nice game running the ball which is great to see after he was injured all of last year. They also were able to get a ton of young guys some experience.

Seems like Rowan had become somewhat competitive as a program a few years back but are now really struggling.

Coach Ford had a good stable of assistants, as mentioned before, especially his OC. But he ran them off because of the culture he was creating.

the better coach is in the building, we’ll see if the admin realizes it.

Rowan only cares if you are one of the good ole boys in the club.  Heck they have 2 AD's  Big Grin and an assistant AD on the payroll and they still would rather promote a friend or a friend of a friend than find a good coach to build and run their programs!

Rowan Co. fancies itself as some sort of elitist Mecca in the Cosmopolite of Morehead; however, the connection to the kids living out in the county is never made. This school needs both demographics to have a chance. Especially when they have to compete with numbers against soccer.
