I'm sitting here finishing up my last piece of humble pie. I was very impressed with John Hardin. They have some very talented skill players and their speed was impressive. Bowling Green committed 4 turnovers in the game. They only turned the ball over 8 times the whole year. A lot of the problem was the poor field condition. It rained Tuesday and Wednesday and they put a tarp over the field but the tarp wasn't big enough to cover it all. Ten yards on each sideline and near each end zone was like a mud bowl. We punted in the 2nd quarter and the ball landed about the 30 yard line and stuck in the field. No bounce or anything. Both teams had to play on it though so that wasn't the deciding factor. It was much closer than I expected because John Hardin is a great football team and it was a great game to watch.
