The best player in the NBA is...
#31
Jokic had his 5th straight triple-double last night against Sacramento. 35 points, 22 rebounds, and 17 assists. Nobody else but Wilt Chamberlain has ever had a 35-20-15 triple-double. This has been Jokic's best season and he is averaging a triple-double. There is no MVP race at this point in the season, IMO. SGA is having a great season but his stats do not compare to Jokic's.

Denver has won 12 of its last 15 games and is only 1-1/2 games out of 2nd place in the Western Conference. The Nuggets will probably not catch the Thunder for the top seed, but nobody is going to look forward to facing a healthy Denver team.

Jokic had 31 points, 21 rebounds, 22 assists, and 3 steals in a149-142 road win against Phoenix tonight. No other player in NBA history has had a 30-20-20 triple-double.

Does anybody still doubt that Jokic is the best player in the NBA?

I love watching Jokic play. I do not watch the NBA, however, if Denver is playing I will watch the game just because Jokic. He is so unselfish,  he is always trying to get his teammates involved instead of trying to score every trip. The man does not jump but yet he is always getting a rebound.
The only player that compares to him is Larry Bird. Jokic could very well be the best player on the planet.

I agree about the MVP conversation that there isn't much of one, but SGA will win MVP just bc of voter fatigue, it would surprise me if Jokic did win again.

Jokic is having by far his best season statistically, and one of the best in the history of the NBA if you go by the analytics, which I don't but that's what I've heard everyone say on ESPN, so it has to be true.

Jokic had 61 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds last night but Denver lost in double overtime to Minnesota. Westbrook stole the ball, missed a layup, and then fouled a three point shooter in the closing seconds.

Jokic's 61 points were the most ever scored in the NBA in a triple-double game.
