Final from FCHS
A late 4th quarter run by the Jags was the difference. Blackcats led most of the game, but turnovers down the stretch and poor rebounding killed them. Hats off to FC’s Ronnie Sammons. That dude kept FC alive and continued to make plays down the stretch. He’s an excellent player.
Halbert led Prestonsburg in scoring. He’s been an animal all season at getting to the basket.
Good learning experience for both teams, especially Prestonsburg. I’m really excited about this group and what they can be. So much potential. They’ll get better as a team as the season goes along. Far from a finished product.
Looking forward to the rematch!

No ball movement from the 4 minute mark to the end of the game for Prestonsburg. Not a great “team” environment yet but that’ll come with more time on the court together. Youth and inexperience showed up late but both teams fought their hearts out. Should be a fantastic rematch. So much parity in the 58th district this season.

Prestonsburg is young and that was thier biggest game and it was on the road. I wouldn't overthink it, but I do think they are a year away.
