IDK how likely that is to happen but I definitely give Central a greater shot at winning this game than most do...

Boyle    - 21

I get what you’re saying.

But Boyle’s schedule has been pretty rock solid as well. Played Bryan Station, Frederick Douglas, and they are still playing. ?

As for injuries, Try the Rebels.
hardwick out half the season. Dakota Patterson out all year. Dawson missed two games. Bodner missed a couple. ?

Hatz you forgot Bowling Green who’s still playing and who beat South Warren twice and South Warren handed Central their last loss and I believe it was a shut out!

Boyle also lost Cole Sims for the year and he was their best DB.

You forgot about Bryan Station final 4 in 6a. And I want to forget about Fredrick Douglas  final 4 in 5a along with Bowling Green

Hatz mentioned Bryan Station.

After watching a half of Central vs FC… the jackets Defense is better than what I thought. They have some big boys up front and they are all aggressive. They’ve got speed on the outside as well. They also do a good job of disguising there formation, but IMO it really doesn’t matter because they are bringing the house just about every play. It helps them disguise what gaps or where most of it will come from, but make no mistake, they are coming. Biggest thing I seen was just how wide open the middle was because… well because everyone is coming. I’m still not sure why FC didn’t target that, they kept wanting to roll out. I said originally that boyle should get the run game established early to open up the pass. After watching them, they might have to pass to open up the run some. The high risk- high Reward that central runs results in man coverage 1 on 1 coverage. But they do have the speed to stay with the WRs so techniques and good moves might play a big part.

Offense…. They are worse than I thought. Their O line is huge and strong, but a little slow. They’ve got 1 avg runner in the backfield and a strong full back. C stone is pretty good and very fast, but IMO I think the Q-berry is better, but that’s just me, and maybe because he’s got a better supporting cast. They don’t throw a whole lot and if they do it’s usually very late in the play when he’s scrambling and someone’s trying to find space. Decent arm and accuracy though. I’m not disparaging the other kids because every athlete has his own strengths, but they when someone said this offense was a one man show, they meant it.

Special teams.. again not very good. Below avg. their XP’s look easy to block as they take a long time to develop it, the kicker pretty much walks up and just kicks it. They squib, or did on FC a lot.

If boyle county scores 21-24 points, they win this game. I just don’t see centrals offense putting up 21 on boyle co, unless it’s late in the game or one of those. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my crow and have severely overestimated boyles D. Which I don’t think I have. I do think it’s gonna be hard for boyle to run it on central. It’s pretty much about 8 at the least coming for ya. The jackets do eat up a lot of clock so that might keep the Rebs O off the field more than they like and couldn’t result in lower scoring. But central just don’t have the weapons to beat a boyle team who can put up points.

Fredrick Douglas’s defense is the only defense that has held Boyle’s offense in check this season, I watched Central’s last game and they do have some size and they always have speed but I don’t think their defense is close to what Freddy D puts on the field but their pressure blitzing style could cause problems for Boyle, but you know the old saying you live by the blitz and you by the blitz, with all this said I still think Boyle will score 28-35 points Friday night will it be enough I’m not sure, but if Boyle holds Stone under a hundred yards rushing it’s going to be tough for Central to put points on the board.

Weather looks good for Friday night and warmer than last weeks game. Not sure what to expect from Central. They have some great road games (Franklin County, Logan County) and some not so great road games (Belfry, South Warren). If Central shows up to play this will be a great game. I could see a 28-27 game.

Oh lord no! Not even a shell of Fredrick Douglass. But they do have their own strengths. But I think after some adjustments their blitz won’t be as effective as it was when the game is early on. I’m still pretty firm on them holding boyles run game in check, just because of their penetration from blitzing and the way they disguise it. I tbink if stone has over a hundred yards it’s gonna be tough for them to put up points on boyle. But I also don’t think he’ll get to that mark. If I were a boyle supporter (I guess I am in a way) the only Thing I’d be worried about is broken tackles on stone that leads to big gains, and their QB scrambling and finding an open WR. Outside of that I tbink boyles D is gonna own the night as far as that goes. Cortez stone better stop carrying that ball like a bread loaf. He was stripped a few times, and got lucky more than that because he was ruled down or they recovered. Turnovers for central would be a dagger to them because they can’t score quick. If on the off chance boyle can’t get
their O going, a TO for them could be pretty costly where central gets a lot of ToP. But I’m still going with boyle, if they score 21-28 points at the very least they win this game. Then hopefully their real nightmare begins when they have to face Tommy’s G-Unit!!! Haha. I’m sure haddix is licking his chops for that one. Good luck
