#1
Final. Knox had no answer for UK commit Reed Sheppard. Sheppard had 37 points on the night.

15th region official at that, It’s already slim Pickens in the 15th.

Where can I find video of the ref's egregious actions?

good game overall. Reed best player on floor not even close. Bad look on Knox County pushing a ref over losing a ballgame good for their coach to get in there and get him quick.

"Bad look" and Knox County always walk arm in arm like a couple of young lovers on a war, summer eve.

Was it # 10 ?

Matt Jones posted 3 different angles on twitter. After watching all 3, it appears to me that the Knox player definitely initiated the contact by bumping into the ref, the ref tried to move away and extends his arm/pushes the player away to create separation and then the Knox player came at and hit/punched the ref in the chest. Not a good look at all, and luckily the Knox coach was right there to grab his player. I would anticipate a lengthy suspension is coming for that player.

Why would you go back and forth with a player in that situation and not run off the court? I think it’s possible for both sides to be in the wrong.
#12
Are you all losers really gonna get on here and try to blame that referee?

the kid bumped into him once, maybe twice twice within 1 sec of the game ending. The ref pushed back while moving away to create space and then got hit hard in the chest. What was the ref supposed to do? This is squarely on the player, it is never ok for a player to even touch an official, let alone push and the hit one.

Not me.  Any kid that strikes an official under any circumstance should NEVER see high school sports action again...EVER!!!  Lifetime ban!

SPOT ON!!!  Totally agree!

North Laurel had a really good defensive game plan for Knox, combine that with Shepherd on the offensive end and it equals a region title. Congrats to the Jags.

Has Chadwell enrolled at Corbin yet?

Huh I can’t see that happening. Why would he do that, so he could not be utilized at all like the other 2 UK recruits Corbin had last year?
