Bengals Coming back From Injury
#1
In today's Cincinnati Enquirer, it was reported that Willie Anderson participated in practice for the first time all year, and Big Willie said he plans to play in the season opener against the Ravens. Also, Levi Jones continues his return after playing several series in the Monday Night game against Atlanta, and should also be ready to start the opener.

In addition, Marvin Lewis stated that Chris Perry was progressing very well in his rehab from an ankle injury, and could be ready to play earlier than originally hoped. It had been assumed that the team would place him on the PUP list to start the season, which would have knocked him out of the first 5 games. However, in the first roster cuts yesterday, the Bengals made no such move with Perry, leaving open the possibility that he might play in September after all. A final decision must be made on Saturday when team rosters are set. A healthy Perry would be a big lift to the Bengals, just weeks after losing backup RB Kenny Irons to a season-ending injury.
