Getting ready to come in from my summer session of engineering school and wanting to do some fishing. I know the drought probably caused the water level to drop, but are the fish hitting at Paintsville Lake? I normally do a lot of fishing but haven't really had the chance to do any this season. Any information would be appreciated and where have some people had some luck. I normally steak it out by the dam or over on the bank as soon as you walk in away from all the rocks.

Not Really. The bass were not hitting good for me on the 4th of July weekend...I caught 5 in 10 hours but maybe it was just a bad day. I'm planning to go back next weekend and hopefully they'll be on...
