The game is slated to be released for the 360 and PS3 on October 1st of this year.

Have you heard if it may come out for the Wii in the future. I really don't see a reason for Capcom to avoid releasing it on the Wii. Heck they even took a gamecube exclusive (RE 4) and released it two more times, once for PS2 and for Wii.

^^ RE 5 is not coming to wii, yet, but the wii will have it's on version of Resident Evil, The title is RE Umbrella Chronicles.

From what I've seen, Umbrella Chronicles will be a little bit different than the other RE games, more of an arcade-style first person shooter. Kind of a disappointment for me, as I thought RE 4 was one of the 2 or 3 best games I ever played. I hope they eventually put RE 5 out for Wii.

Yeah I know about all of that... I just reallt want to see RE 5 come out on Wii in like another year or so. the PS2 version of RE 4 came out about a year after the gamecube "exclusive" version.
