Belfry is playing a JV schedule with 2 or 3 good teams on the whole schedule.
They will win a lot of games vs. bad teams but won't be very good.
Pikeville played more good teams the first week than Belfry plays all year.
Also you have Belfry 3 spots above SV who beat them...

At this point... who cares. Pikeville will make the regional tournament and if a team thinks they can just show up and beat them, Pikeville will advance.

2000PHS, I watched a good middle school game this evening between Paintsville and Pikeville. Paintsville won 3 to 1 but it was a pitching dual the first 4 innings with Paintsville leading 1 to 0. Wade Hensley pitched a great game as did the Ponter kid from Paintsville but what made it a good game the kids where having fun with each other in a good way. Love to see these kids compete and have fun with each other. Great game and I really enjoyed it

Sheldon Clark beat Paintsville in the All-A last night at Paintsville, wow!
Gonna sting for Paintsville fans to see SC or Pikeville win the 15th All-A on the Tigers' field.

Should be very interesting tonight. I believe both teams are evenly matched. Pikeville has tons of good athletes. SCHS has plenty of talent too. Should make for a fun game. If SC can play good defense and limit Pikeville base runners due to walks and errors they should give themselves a good chance of winning.

Very surprised to see Paintsville get beat at home like that. Sheldon Clark proves that for a one game matchup they aren’t a joke. If they continue to be solid and improve that will make the 57th a lot more interesting this year.
