Ugly, but win and advance this time of year. Barbourville outplayed Jags until late third quarter, led by as many as eight, before Northâs press took over and won the game for them. North will have to play much better Friday to have any shot.

I've said before, Barbourville was the most improved team in the region. They were nowhere to found in the top 10 in the preseason. They could have won if not for their problems with the press - 23 turnovers

North got out rebounded 39-13.

North Laurel very well could be the most improved team

Down 3, B-villeâs guard had some costly turnovers at end of game.

I think North is going to shock the world and win this region, Adam Sizemore is a true PG and a senior who has been through it all, I think he will find a way to get his team to Rupp, he manages the game at a high level and the young players on the team such as Reed Shepard will step up behind his leadership. I am pulling for North

I am too, thatâs my school, but I think beating South and (probably) Knox Central in 24 hours is an awfully tall order. If Sheppard stays though, North will be one of the favorites for four years after this.

Youâre right about Sizemore too, he got off to a little bit of a rough start, he had a shoulder injury that they were afraid for a while was gonna cost him his senior season. But he seems healthy now, and he has played great since first of the year.

Pretty sure north lost 85% of its offense from last year team

They were still ranked 6th or 7th in preseason, plus they added two guys as good as some they lost. Great job by Sizemore, but Barbourville was probably move improved. Harlan went from six wins to 20.
