What does everyone think of this hire?

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Louisville has officially hired Scott Satterfield as its head football coach.

The University of Louisville Athletic Association unanimously approved the hiring of the former Appalachian State coach on Tuesday. Satterfield, who received a six-year contract with a base annual salary of $1.625 million and another $1.625 million for media obligations, was introduced at a news conference later Tuesday at Cardinal Stadium.

I would love to see the list of 5 that Louisville said they had in mind. How far down did they have to go before getting their guy? He’s got some work to do that’s for sure.

Interesting.

I heard Neal Brown was asked if he had interest but told them that he did not. Which goes against what I was told recently. I wonder what he thinks is coming down the pike? Hhhmmmmm?

^^^I heard the same thing. I am glad he did not go though, I don’t want to hate Neil Brown, actually like him and hope he will be the head coach at Kentucky someday
