In the Preseason Showcase to introduce the Newest Member of the KBDL, the Central Kentucky Express, the Express Blue defeated the Express White by a score of 112-108.

The Express Blue was led by Former Centre College and Henry Clay standout John Patterson with 35 points and 16 rebounds. Former Eastern Kentucky University player Mike Scott scored 25 points and Former Jenkins High School Standout Jason Mullins and Former Bryan Station and University of Pittsburgh Star Jaron Brown chipped in 20 apiece for the Blue.

The White team was led by Former Ohio University player Terrence Abbott with 36 points and 12 rebounds. Former Madison Central Star and Eastern Kentucky University player Kaneil Jenkins poured in 30 points and the white scoring was rounded out with Former Perry County Central and Alice Loyd College standout David Feltner scoring 24. The showcase featured over 25 dunks with Jenkins and Patterson having 10 apiece.

The Express will Open the KBDL season in Irvine on Saturday April 21st in Irvine at the ECHS Gym against the Hazard Shooting Stars who are led by former Eastern Kentucky University Basketball player Jon Bentley and Coached by Former Clay County and Georgetown College Star Shannon Hoskins.
