yeah this is going to be a fun ride nonetheless..I mean really, how could ANYONE NOT like a good 'ol country boy named Billy Clyde??? The interviews he has given have been great, and you can tell that this guy loves where he is. He understands what he has walked into, and will handle any bout of pressure that is thrown at him. I like him, and I think he will relate to the fans as well. I know there were some questions about his recruiting, but he basically matched UK man for man at a program that was 0-16 in conference play a few years ago. Now he's got something to SELL to his recruits. I think the guy will be dynamite and will bring us a great mix of in-state players as well as the national 4 and 5 star players. He has proven he can coach, and has proven to me that he can recruit. I am so excited about Billy Clyde at UK. And I know that the 24,000 that fill Rupp Arena will be too...as for the rest of the SEC, hope they enjoyed the past two seasons, because I have a feeling the Cats will be back on top very soon..

How weird would it be IF Gillispie came in his first year and wins the championship like Tubby did with "Pitino's Team".....then would fans say it was Tubby's team?......just a thought what do you all think?

Hadn't really thought about that football. Anything can happen. The recruits that Billy bring in and the new coaching style may lead the boys farther than we have been going lately. Any number of factors can contribute to them being a better team. If the new players are what Kentucky needs to win the tourney then it all wouldn't be Tubby's team.
