I still think Holland is the best.
He's not worked with the talent any of these other guys have had recently.
#3
1- Holland
2- Fraley
3- King
4- Hoskins
5- Bentley
6- Noble
7- Fugate
8- Creech
9- Stacy
10- Day

We all get caught up in the right now. Can’t forget about Fraley. Very Successful coach
I think Coach Bentley does a good job but up until 3 weeks ago not sure if anyone would have put him top 5

Best coach? I think a lot of people get caught up in the talent level some of these coaches have on the floor. You give me John Noble and you can have the field. And I am not biased at all, not from Buckhorn or Breathitt. He does more with less everywhere he goes.

Holland and Noble by far best in my opinion

I think Noble is a great coach and even a greater person but u can’t say he hasn’t had talent...
Noble coached 3 14th Region Players of the Year at Buckhorn!!!
Don’t think there’s another coach in the region that’s had 3 POY’s in the last 10-12 years...
Again, not disagreeing that Noble isn’t one of the best around... just taking up for some of his players... Blank, Day, and Hoskins

1. Creech - Wolfe
2. Bentley - Estill
3. Noble - Breathitt
4. King - Knott County Central
5. Fugate - Jackson City
6. Holland - Hazard
7. Hoskins - Perry County Central
8. Fraley - Powell
9. Day - Leslie
10. Stacy - Cordia

Bobby Bowling (Powell County Assistant Coach) and Steve Johnson (Wolfe County Assistant Coach,) would be on this list if they were the head coach of a team.

EKFF, Noble had 3 14th Region POY because he took the time and made those kids what they were. He put in the 2000 AAU Summer games, the countless workout hours, and not to mention his hard working mentality that he instilled in them. Im not saying Noble is the best but he has to be right there with anyone in this state.

1A Holland - great game planner, works hard, has his kids ready, great X and O coach
1B Noble - works extremely hard, gets everything out of his kids and more,
These are two of the best coaches in the 14th for sure!

2. B.B. King -awesome person, hard worker, knows how to win, helps when you have pretty good players year in and year out.

3. John Bentley - great guy, hard worker and good x and o coach, and someone mentioned something about just because he finally won. He doesn't get the greatest talent at Estill, but they always compete hard and he gets the most out of his players just like Noble does. Would love for him to get back to Hazard when Coach Holland decides to give it up. ,

4. Fraley - great track record, works hard wherever he is at, gets a lot out of his kids

5. Creech - does a great job with what he gets at wolfe, most kids end up transferring out, but he has had a few good ones stay. His kids always play hard and he works really hard for them.

6. Denny Fugate - Excellent x and o coach, gets all he can out of his teams, works extremely hard on and off the court, develops players

7. Corey Hoskins - did a good job at Jackson City with what he had, and did a great job this year at Buckhorn continuing getting what he can out of his kids like Noble did when he was their. Will be a great coach as he gets experience.

8. Matt Day - just needs to work on his game plans and get that big win that can start given his teams the confidence that they can win. Have to get out of that losing mentality.

9. Shannon Hoskins - Great person on and off the floor, just wish he worked with his younger kids more and developed players better, he usually has a great group of kids, but the ones who should get better don't. Loses a lot of kids to surrounding counties and don't seem to care.

That is just my opinion on the top 10 coaches in our region.

Who has Shannon Hoskins lost? Some went to Buckhorn but planned to all along.
#11

Is that Daniel day or Matt day at Leslie County

Brought most of Perrys players in.
