To all PCC players and Fans who made the long, long trip to Bowling Green I would like to say awesome job so far! This thing is not over yet and PC has a great chance to win the gold! You girls have done a marvelous job representing not only your school and community but all of East. KY. I've been there supporting you each game in the state tourney and I'll be there tomorrow...good luck!

Thank you for the post. Even though you are a JC fan, it is nice to know that you are rooting for another 15th region school. Many would not be as courteous as you and I would also like to say thanks to all the other people that are rooting for our team. It means a lot to us and I think I speak for all of us on here that are affiliated with Pike Central. Again thanks for the support!

As should all 15th region fans. PCC is there representing us and we should ALL be behind them . They are proving mountain teams can hang with the much bigger schools Way to go girls.

I would like to say on the behalf of the Lady Hawks, coaches and fans, thank you everyone on your support. These girls not only made us proud but they made the WHOLE mountains proud. It has been a really really long time since a team from our area has made the semifinals in boys or girls. If it was not for the support of the local community this trip would have been much harder than it already was. It is so great to see all of you jump on the bandwagon to take pride in what we all love so much. Good job girls win or lose we was so proud of each and every one of you.

I made my way down there Saturday morning to watch central play, and I must say they played with heart.Im from valley and was cheering for PC to win. They had a chance but let it slip away. Congrats to all players,fans,coaches.etc. But congrats to Haley more,you played great and always played your best.truley one of the best players i've seen play.
Congrats to PC,you made all of us proud!!

I saw PCC play all 3 games sat close to the bench wow do they play hard. Great run by PCC great fan support.

First time since 1990 a Girls team from the 15th Region made it to the semifinals of the Sweet 16. Congrats to Pike Central on a wonderful season.

Correct...

Belfry did win their share of regional titles in the 90's though. 1984 was their biggest year, at least that's what Mr. West of Belfry told me back during the regional a couple of weeks ago (has it been that long now?)

I had asked him how many consecutive times Belfry's girls had made the regional tournament and it's been a long time...

I am pretty sure Tussey was playing the point. When I played under her, she should still use some of her dribbling moves.

Yeah Tussey was my PE teacher she can still play with us young kids lol
