Appalachian State defeated Toledo 34-0 in the Dollar General Bowl on Saturday night at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.
Jalin Moore ran for 125 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries for the Mountaineers as the co-Sun Belt Conference champions finished the season with a 9-4 record.
Moore earned the Most Valuable Player Award for the game.
ASU has won three bowls in a row since joining NCAA FBS, and for the second straight year, the Mountaineers beat Toledo. Last year, App State topped the Rockets 31-28 in the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery.

App St made a top MAC school look like a JV team. Congrats to the Sun Belt and App St. The Rockets didn't have any answers during this one!
