This is great to have good friends in today's world where there are so many cheats, liars, busy bodies, spreaders of rumors and just plain bad people. This warms my heart to hear of such Christmas spirit exemplified by the principal during this Holiday season. Merry Christmas to all!

I don't know anything about this (just hearing about it now). But if the original post is true and the coach and player quit on Friday, then it wouldn't be because anyone was "mad because they lost". SV actually won on Friday, and didn't lose until Saturday.

Now that I look at the stats report, it shows that senior and leading scorer Summer Rose did not play in the loss on Saturday. Was she the player that quit, or was she possibly hurt? That would be a tough blow to SV's chances to win region if she is no longer on the team.

The truth is the truth and forever will be. This was a family issue that caused 2 people to quit, a player and a coach. They only missed one game and made amens. The quitting did occur,meetings followed and both were back. This can be tried to stay (in house)but it did occur. Not a hater nor a liberal just telling the truth. It's over,move on. Good luck to all players that play the game. It is only a game. Putting a different spin on it doesn't change the facts. I do hope that all coaches reach that elusive milestone of having their name listed in the Hall of Fame,if that's what they want. You are obviously close to the program and think that any news concerning that program should stay in house. You have a role.

If the player & coach in question did leave the team for family reasons, nobody should judge them for that. These type of situations happen on almost every athletic team across the state. Last thing we need is for somebody who doesn't like the people in question airing their family business on BGR.
