It's actually -
Douglass (Tates Creek, Lafayette, Henry Clay, Station, and Dunbar) - 28
Tates Creek - 17
Douglass has been tabbed the Lexington All-Stars, pulling key players from most, if not all of the city schools. Oh, and throw LCA in there because their best OL is from LCA.

Hahaha that is what I really meant and KHSAA is not doing anything about it. Blatant "recruiting" or perpetuating players to attend their new school.

Exactly where were they supposed to get kids from? When you build a new school, in a district with other schools, the kids have to come from somewhere.

Yeah but if you start picking from other district and convincing them to come to the new school, isn't that call something? Kids are out of district. Hey don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me one bit. Just saying a brand new school all of a sudden a 6A power? That takes time with incoming freshman/ sophomores. They went out and got upper tier players from each schools. I can a bunch, but I wont per FERPA law. RB, QB, back up QB, a ton of O-Linemen etc etc. Again no dog in this fight, just wondering how they get away with it.

I have no dog in this fight, I just want to put that out there. But our school has been accused of ârecruitingâ by a bunch of butt hurt fans, but thatâs beside the point. My question is, what do you propose we do about it? KHSAA isnât a perfect organization, thatâs obvious. But what should they do? They donât have unlimited funds to pay people to look into these things, or a team full of PIâs. If they canât get these things because a lack of money, they sure donât have the money for legal proceedings. Whatâs the solution? Iâm not attacking anyone by asking this, Iâm just curious as to what they think should be done?

Coincidentally, that was the entire idea of the school. Thin out the overcrowded school in that area of Lexington.... i.e Bryan Station and Henry Clay

Everyone recruits. Everyone.

The kids that were in the boundaries set up for FD (which were taken from the other schools) were fair game to "convince" to play for FD, those where FD district kids. The player from LCA, actually lives in the FD district boundary.

If he lives inside the boundary, then there shouldn't be an issue... Its no different than anywhere else, a kid lives in the county and switches to the city school, while living inside both districts and people get butt hurt and call it recruiting. I would focus on why kids want to leave that school for another, but whenever you ask them that question the topic changes or no response..... :flush:

Any update on the FD quarterback? Hearld Leader said he went out in their last game and a freshmen led them to the win. I don't think a freshmen could do that against Tates Creek though.

There are point blank kids not living in Douglass district who we allowed to go there by a combination of Fayette super and KHSAA. The most glaring is a kid who practiced at TC until the day school started and went to Douglass and was instantly eligible. TC's district is on the opposite side of town from Douglass. Maybe after year 1 things will settle in and people will enforce rules.

You right. Whenever both McPeek's are in your program you always have to be suspicious. They will never be able to shake there past. FD is the most protected program in LEX. Head Coach was suspended for a week and you never heard anything about it not even the Media where his wife works. Everyone in lex except FD people is hoping my man Sims and the creek crew take this one, if not Scott County will the following week.

I don't think FD AD Gary McPeek care much about rules. Fairview 2014 can never be forgotten yet this man and his nephew who was HC at fairview now FD oc keeps getting jobs. Fayette doing whats best for the kids tho ....google gary and nathan mcpeek fairview and see fo yo self ...now FD principal diaz let these men into FD program shameful for the kidz ...but both men are changed soulz now

Is the backup QB the one they got from Dunbar? Hard to keep track of the schools the FD players came from....

The stories surrounding FD are unreal .... not even sure what Landis get's paid to do beside being a head coach ... he was suspended for a game this year ...bet not many people knew that ..hh:

I find your excessive use of the words butt hurt to be disturbing. You are contradicting your self. You do the same thing. Your team recruits and you know they do but you defend it by saying butt hurt :biglmao:
