Five state championships for Johnson County Middle School.
Scott Holbrook, Willard Burton, Doug Sublett.... A big shoutout and congrats all of the coaches at the Middle school that have created a Dynasty at JCMS. The results are proven at the high school level for Johnson Central by being the 2015 4A State Runner-Up, the 2016 4A State Champions and being favored to repeat as the 4A state champions in 2017.

Former players, you have laid the foundation.... Current players, you have maintained the tradition.... Future players, you have the legacy to uphold.

Glad to see one of the games was actually a "game". Looks like the rest were blowouts.

I kind of figured Northern was going to win this one because the revenge factor was high. What I didn't think of (stupidly) was the confidence Johnson County must've had from the win earlier in the season.

Coach Wooldridge had a really nice fist season at the helm of Northern! Good for you, coach! Reload for next year. That 7th grade team has a lot of really nice players and I'm excited to see where they go.
