With the 29 point loss by Powell County, and the 18 point loss by Estill County - the 56th district is now (1-18) over the past nine seasons in the regional tournament. The only win coming in 2003 when Wolfe Co. defeated Jenkins.
The average margin of losing in the 18 games is 23.4 points!

2003- Powell (-9) Wolfe (-36*) in the semi-finals

This is interesting information...of course, Estill Co. has
only been in the 56th two years...a few years back, Estill
made the Regional finals in the 10th two years in a row,
losing to Harrison Co. and Brossart. Still, this ought
to be a challenge to players in the 56th District to work
harder in the off season. Good research!!

I hope that the 56th district will come on strong...Looks like Lee has a young team and improved much this year
