Update on Johnson Central Field

Work has begun on the new field @ JC... I will be posting some pics for all to see in the coming week. Right now though its a mess with dirt, and rocks everywhere!

See this is how much Johnson Central cares for their county, their school, and everyone. Sheldon Clark has needed a new field for years. ALONG with a new school! But I don't see any of this happening for a while. Cant wait to see the new field Eagles, no doubt in my mind it will be a great one!

What is the time period they are looking at for completion? I am really looking forward to watching the black and gold a few times next season on their new field.

I can understand the frustration in Martin county with the school, but put in mind how much money do they have to get these things done. I noticed when we came to play at the gym it was pretty cold and the building needed some work done to it. Money will do alot of work but you have to have it.

They could get the money, as for the gym it is very cold. One of the coaches told me out of the 16 heaters they had in there only 2-4 work.

They are no longer turning the field around because the ground was too soft to support all the weight. They are builiding new bleachers, visitor bleachers will be installed this year, but home bleachers will be rebuilt next year and will be connected to the pool building for add more locker room space and a bigger film/coach office as well as a new weight room. Also, the practice facility will not be started on until after this season is over.

Why not post pics from past, current, and then update from time to time during the process??
