Congratulations to North Laurel. Glad I got to catch this game tonight. Been awhile since North had beaten South.

Lol. I just caught that in the original post. That one was pretty fun though.

Glad North finally got one, having Gray back makes a huge difference for them, gives them another scorer, he had 15 in the first quarter last night! Thought South made some uncharacteristic turnovers against the press late after they got out to a 12-point lead in the third quarter, but you tend to forget that other than Grubb, who it seems like has been there for 10 years, they are still a very young team. They will be fine.

I wished every game we played had that type atmosphere. Thats how it was when I played.

I apologize for my error. I was at the HC vs Harlan game last night, and made it home with 12 seconds left in the "Laurels" game.
I understood the announcer to say it was the second overtime.

He must have said 2nd overtime, because I've saw that posted on a couple sites. Was just 1 ot, but wished it would've went 2. Lol.

North finally got over the hump with a win against South. Gray for sure makes a big difference as he takes some of the scoring load and defensive attention away from Broughton. Congrats on the win

I'm not sure it's "uncharacteristic". I actually think ball handling is South's Achilles heal. If you look back, teams that can pressure the ball give them problems. They are missing that one steady ball handler.

Ok, I can buy that I haven't seen them maybe four times. I guess I was surprised, because I didn't expect Grubb to turn it over, he had a few of those.

Shouldn't be a huge surprise considering Broughton is a D-1 signee.
