I really don't think that the 14th has a team that deserves to be in the mountain top ten! So remember warthog u just have to be better than the other teams in the 14th ! Not the 13th or 15th to go to state ! I'am not that impressed with anybody from the 14th ! But isn't Johnson county supposed to be the best defensive team in th 15th? My buddy said they cut the lead to 3 or 4 late in the 3rd quarter an then ran out of gas! So the score was a little misleading then?also Pcc 1st game in two weeks didn't help either! But in a 3 horse race looks like the 14th will run last against the 13th an 15th! To me it's looking like Leslie county is leading for 14th region favorite now! But I don't think Leslie would have faired any better against this team.

Perry didn't look good tonight at all, some said refs were bad but I thought it was a good called game, jc just outplayed PCC

15th is a 4 team race right now with Paintsville on top followed by SV, JC and Pikeville in no particular order. All 4 play very good defense.

Jc might be best team especially if they play like they did tonight their offense was better than normal. They beat a good pcc team tonight who has got one of the top three players in the mountains without a doubt and probably caught pcc on a off night but give jc credit they played really good

Profitt definitely top 3... 30+ on a great defensive team with everyone keying on her. Thought PCC gave up way too many easy ones to win this one. I think they're still finding themselves. I have a feeling coach Napier has an ace up his sleeve.

I heard that they did out play Pcc,but JC smacked an hit Pcc all night, the refs called 6 fouls on JC the first 4 mins,Pcc was in the bonus in the first quarter, an they kept playing that way but the whistle went silent? Did anybody watch the game,my friend tends to blow things up a little bit? He also said that Pcc point guard struggled tonight?

My buddy was there, basically said the same thing. Out of sync 1st half, press wasnt effective. Made a run in 3rd to cut it to 3. Kept game close till end of 4th when Perry ran out of legs. He said the PG was getting to the basket just couldn't get shots to fall. He said they had some other kids play better. Didn't really say anything about the ref's said it was physical.

PCC was rusty for sure,but before we get too critical they got the same team they had 2 weeks ago. Randy knows basketball and will put them right in a few games just in time for the stretch. I've watched Hall all season she didn't shoot well but that's one game.Proffitt played well I thought, but a fowl on one end was a no call on the other. One thing I noticed was late in the fourth when the game was out of reach the whistles suddenly started blowing for PCC. That one is over,we lost, let's move on. PCC will be a different team Monday night.

Post is getting better.... I thought Burris and Fields both are finding their place. They will need a big game tomorrow night against Maggard.

IMO, South Floyd is the only other team that could beat those 4, on a good night. Who else you got?

Belfry has the talent but they are having major problems at the moment, Pike Central has the potential to do it also. It will be an interesting post season in the 15th.

Hadn't heard too much about those 2 and have not seen them yet. Belfry usually has a pretty good team.

they are small 5"10!id not that big in high school anymore! But with there speed it may be enough for them to still take the region who's know's! They have always been smaller an managed a 12-3 record so it's not hurt them to bad!
