I guess your talking about the upcoming year--07--season. To early to tell but here are a few players who could be overlooked and maybe not the higher profile players on their team...in no order.
2-Little's-South Floyd & the one for Pikeville
Erica Blankenship-Phelps...didn't play last year...will have an impact & Jasmine Hall
King-JC--blonde hair ? I believe
Allen Central--one of the twins or maybe both
Pike Central--Weddington & a girl they call Smurf
Sheldon Clark has a sophomore with excellent athletic skills
Belfry--Staten & Branham--started as 9th graders this year.
East Ridge-I think Justice is back not sure
Betsy Layne-Meade
No doubt there will be incoming freshman (this years 8th graders) who will make an impact. Millard should have some heading to ER & SV. Howard & McCoy at Belfry will be hard to keep off the floor. South Floyd has a very petite girl who will only get better...maybe 7th grade or less. All these are not the high profile players but the ones every coach "must" have and can play the game.
Sorry if I overlooked anyone...Magoffin has a hitter back maybe #11 and if Alan gets some of the roundball girls...look out. I know he' working on them. Hope they play for him.
Under rated teams for next year--Magoffin, Betsy Layne & Phelps.

Phelps, I believe that they will have a winning season coming up, Blankenship is returning and will be ready for the challenge, it will be a tremdously huge challenge for them to attend to region withBelfry,and Pike Central in their district

wellll IMO blankenship isnt the only missing peice to this puzzle Phelps has alot of teeam issues aswell seems like the only thing any of those girls cares about is personal stats. honestly tahts not what its about... just saying! Not only is it phelps though its lke that in a lot of sports at a lot of schools.

Excuse me but before you dish on anyone - learn to type better. I don't think you can list "those girls" together. I really don't know where people keep getting their information about Phelps. I have kept the books and I have never kept single stats on any of the girls. Most stat takers only keep who is serving and who gets the point. My daughter is on the Phelps team (junior high and high) and I can not tell you what her stats are and I would bet she could not either. I have never had one of the girls ask me how many serves she has or anything. I think before you dish on any of Phelps girls again - you better check your stats and get the story straight. Belive me -we know exactly what volleyball is all about and after the win with Johns Creek they have more on their minds than stats. I don't understand why everyone is having a problem with Phelps winning. In earlier post people warned that Phelps may be the sleeper and sneak right in. Well, I believe people are just grumpy because we have made them wake up and smell the coffee.
Phelps has proven their point and now they want the win!!!!:letsparty

Sorry. I didn't mean to step on your toes there or anything. I wasn't talking about just Phelps in general and I wasn't talking about Junior High. Sorry I should have cleared that up. Anyways, I'm not saying they check their stats I'm saying that some players want to be the star player and don't want to share the spotlight (not just phelps but other schools I've watched as well!) O.K. BTW I have no problem with Phelps winning. I actually happen to like Phelps. I wish they would make some of the more arrogant teams shut up next season.
But like I said thats my OPINION!
BTW was the typing more to your liking??

everyone wants to win don't know what point they made didn't beat a team in 15th region last year just wv and va schools

Phelps played wv and virgina teams because that is who the out going coach had already scheduled them with. The new coach could not change the schedule and the district teams already had a full schedule, so they could not even add more games. And for your other question, all teams are arrogant to a point - they have to have that edge to play. I really don't think the arrogant statement had anything to do with this thread but that's just my opinion. Volleyball, like any other sport, is a game where your mind and attitude has to be focused. Sometimes it comes off as being arrogant and sometimes it just seems a girl/team is more confident than others. I see nothing wrong with that. Phelps has raised their confiendent level 100% this year and I am proud of the job they are doing. This, remember, is the junior high - high school has not even started yet and those are the girls who played va and wv schools. But don't second guess the high school girls either - I am sure the confidence will be there too.
