Valley picks up a good win on the road against a solid opponent.
This was a great game. The Tigers scored on the first possession, then after recovering a Wildcat fumble, they punched in another long touchdown. It was 16-0 Paintsville in the first quarter.
Valley then scored on their next possession to cut the lead in half. An interception by the Cats gave them great field position and they quickly scored again, although they did miss on the conversion. A great tackle at the end of the half saved a Tiger touchdown, and it was 16-14 Paintsville at the break.
Valley would score on their opening possession of the second half to take a 22-16 lead. Both defenses then stiffened up and the game was scoreless the rest of the way.
Valley now moves to 7-2, and plays again this weekend.
