Is Magoffin County that good?

I saw Magoffin last Friday at Pikeville.
They have some size and Lovely at the point is a difference maker.

A team to watch out for this year.

Russel and Lovely are solid players . They have size i love watching this team team play .

The best player on the team is Jacob Isaac just has terrible attuide and heck of big man , yes Trenton Russell is a very good player but shot selection most of the time is very questionable .. That happens a lot when your father is the coach ... Dalton peters coming off the bench is really brings a spark he has just came back from a finger injury were he had pins placed in his hand... The district is between magoffin and Johnson central and they should make a decent run into the region

Is Magoffin County that good?

Yes. Very very solid team that moves the ball well, good quickness, accurate shooting, Lovely at the point penetrates and finishes or kicks out very well. When they're hitting their shots, very dangerous team. Not a ton of size off the bench at the guard position, but make up for it with good ball handling and heady play. Pikeville couldn't buy a shot against them, but also it was evident early on that their ability to pass well and move around for the open shot would be hard to handle. Pikeville was just getting a couple of players back from football too, so it was a perfect storm. I imagine if they meet again, will be much closer.

But everyone in the region needs to be on the lookout for Magoffin. If they stay injury free, will be a load for anyone.
