North Laurel 66, Whitley Co. 64
#1
Nice road win for the Jags, came back from a 39-33 halftime deficit. Whitley has really good guards, just lack some inside presence. Asher made them pay, stayed on the block and turned in one of the best games I've ever seen him play. Freshman Adam Sizemore hit a contested jumper in lane with four seconds to go to put North up, then Luke Woods got off a decent look at a three at the buzzer, but was just short. Good high school ballgame.

Nice win North Laurel keep winning. Confusederiously:
#3
What was the foul ratio or was that a factor?
#4
Many more game winners for Adam Sizemore
#5
If Whitley still has Sasko, they could be competitive with South.
#6
Well heck let teams have kids that already left school play then everybody woukd b competitive. I personally loved watching that kid play. Not the most skilled kid out there but what a motor
#7
And Whitley still has a sasko I believe

My point is they don't have a post player.

I know just giving you hard time Gut.

Rice still struggling gut?
#12
Rice didn't start, came off the bench, got two quick fouls trying (and failing) to guard Asher, then didn't get back in until the third quarter, and did absolutely nothing, no points, no rebounds. I don't ever want to knock a kid, I'll just say he doesn't look all that interested.

Solid win for North, these where the games they was losing last year.
#14
Van hagar pretty much nailed it.
#15
North and Whitley are teams to watch in the 13th
