Could someone explain the seeding system? I would like to know if you are a member of a conference do you get higher placement than an at large bid. Does the win loss determine home field? I am new to this and would like to understand a little better. Thanks

The seeding is based off your record. For each win vs a division 1 team you get 30 points, beat a d2 team you get 20 and beat a d3 team you get 10. Take your point total at the end of the season (yesterday for win/loss form) and divide it by number of games played and you get your average. That average is used to determine seeding, however travel, a JV team from same school and other things can and do affect the seeding.
