Lawrence has never played in a regional final.Old Louisa high might have played in one but I dont think a Louisa team has ever made it to the sweet sixteen.This has never been a basketball school or town.It shows too.Our parks are never full of kids playing basketball.In the late 70,s and early 80,s the basketball court at the pool was the place to be with tons of players but it never showed in wins until 85 when we went to the regional semi-finals.With our football team having 4 straight losing seasons and little improvement the door is wide open for basketball here in Louisa.This team needs and deserves all the support us fans can give them.Our baseball team even had a losing record and losing like winning is contagious.I think Lawrence County keeps playing good basketball and we can pack the gym with the best of them.Go DAWGS

I agree we need to get behind both of the basketball teams :1: and show that we support them. Yes the football & baseball teams are in a rut:redboxer: , again they will have their day again on the winning side, but right know its the basketball teams time to show this county & the region that them are for real and I wouldn't take them lightly this year no one knows what they are capable of this year. :1:

I didnt mean our baseball program was down because there not but they did have a losing record last year but Coach Keeton "whom I played for 28 years ago" plays the best teams out there and a losing record with his schedule doesnt mean there not good.Our baseball team is at a level where we can beat anybody.We dont rebuild we kinda just reload.Just saying it might be basketball,s turn and the silent Bulldog Nation shall rise and pack the gyms.
