Bengals- 31 New Orleans- 16
#1
Bengals go into a very loud, very tough stadium to win in, and basically hand the Saints their asses.

Palmer goes 14 for 22 for 275 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Impressive day by him.

The Bengals ran the no huddle a lot less, and got Rudi a lot more involved in the offense. He finished with 111 yards on 27 carries.

Chad Johnson played an amazing game. 190 yards, three TDs. Few drops, but he got the job done.

Defense played a great game, only allowing 91 yards rushing, and their defensive line only had 2 sacks and could have played a lot better, but they got the job done also. 3 interceptions.

That's just one side of the game. Brees threw for a ton of yards. Bush was fairly productive. The turnovers killed New Orleans.

Granted the Bengals won but the score was not indicative of the way New Orleans played.

Bengals won, but the game was close throughout, and I wouldn't call allowing over 500 passing yards a "great" day on the defense. They didn't let them score much, but that's still pretty ridiculous.

Does the final score say "Bengals- 31 Saints- 16 *but with 500 yards passing"? Might not have been the most impressive defensive showing, but a great job because they got the job done.

The final score is all that matters, but I was just pointing out that the defense shouldn't be considered "great" giving up almost 100 yards rushing and over 500 yards passing.

600 Total yards, but they done great. I think it was a "good" performance because they got the turnovers, but without those it was awful.

The pass defense I agree, but holding them to 91 yards rushing was impressive to me. Then again they didn't run the ball all too much

Actually, that was very moderate. We were discussing the game in a somewhat civilized manner. I'm proud of myself:lmao:

Hopefully the Bengals offensive can play the way they have the last two weeks and do just enough to help the defense and get some wins. I sure hope they make the playoffs nice to see Chad playing well.

I hope so also! I think they have to win 5 out 6 just to have a chance! This is a good team based on the number of injuries that have taken place this year. They have been in most of their games this year and we lost a few that we should have won!

I agree, and I think they need to quit running no huddle as much and doing so they'd also get the runnin game more involved. But, against the Chargers, if you just run the ball 40 times when you get up that much in the second half, they don't have time to comeback..... BLEED THE CLOCK

Very impressive performance on both sides of the ball for Cincy. Hopefully they can keep up the good play on the defensive side b/c they already have it on offense. And SEKY I would have to agree with you, except I didnt have Ocho Cinco but I had Palmer as my offensive player and he got me 70, and Drew Brees my statrer got me 87 points!
