The old money of 3A must always be accounted for... but South Warren has legitimized themselves everyone time they have been called to the carpet.
Just for perspective...this is the same Tilghman team who beat Graves County by 14. The same Graves that just knocked off Bowling Green. Tilghman has lost to some great teams...but none of those teams worked them over to the level SW did.

Wow congrats sw .. I was wrong here.. was told pt offence could never get going . Im sure sw size had something to do with that.. the pt that beat graveshas nothing to do with it .. that was before graves changed things.. but what ever makes u feel better..llol congrats to PT on righting the ship and congrats to the new coach.. now with his first year outta the way and healing the team cancer PT will be a force in the years to come..

PT was able to use speed this year to somewhat compensate for having 160 pound linemen. It was a team that probably won a couple of more games than it should have. Their limitations and weaknesses were obvious but there also were some bright spots.
Tilghman put 36 up on Graves. The most points Graves ate all year. If that game were replayed today, PT would lose 21-0. Why? Because Graves improved dramatically.
IMO Central will end South Warren's run. Central is used to playing 5A teams.

Congrats to South Warren, they are a very good team and were just too much for Tilghman last night. Those who predicted that Warren would be able to wear PT down as the game went on were correct.
It was a 7 point game with about 4 minutes to go in the second quarter, and Tilghman actually had the ball first and ten on the WS 10 yard line, but failed to capitalize. Instead we threw an interception that ended up resulting in a 14 - 0 deficit as the half expired.
That potential 14 point swing was the beginning of the end for the Tornado, from there on, it was all Warren South.
IMO this Spartan team is much better than last years, especially on offense.
Next Friday's game at Lou Central should be a great one.
