Hoped that LC would have represented themselves a little better in this game but in the end Belfry was too much once again. Time to start the offseason and keep working. Belfry sets the bar high and gives the rest of the district a goal to get better and try to compete with them. The Pirates have been on top for quite awhile in the district and continue to dominate. The fact that the coaches and players have not become complacent and work as hard as they do after dominating year in and year out speaks volumes about their program. Good luck the rest of the way Pirates!

Belfry's offense simply was clicking tonight as they had their complete backfield for the first time since Week 1.

Hatfield set the tone early and proved why he is the best FB in the state and one of the best FB's to come out of EKY in a long time. Pirates average over 10 yards per carry and once again stonewall the LC ground game. Kiser did everything he could and made some nice throws, but in the end it was just too tough sledding to try and finish drives against Belfry's defense.

Belfry's OL paved the way all night.

The Pirates recover after a sloppy win in the regular season and just flat out dominate this game!!!! LC has some good athletes.. Dalton is FAST!!!!!! and LC has a big line.. Keep doing what your doin and build on it next year.. Im sure we will meet again..

Its good to see The Belfry O clicking once again.. Hatfield is a PACK MULE!!! He carries people on every single play he has the ball. X is coming into his own and is having good game after good game... MAN, is it good to have Catron back. the Kid is a hard nosed runner that is quick and hard to bring down and he was flying all over the field on D.. O Line Dominated and Defense was stout all night.. Belfy just took us to the woodshed we could not handle hatfield at all. Belfry call the dogs off after they got the running clock great job pirates and best of luck the rest of the way. I do beleave the dawgs have their program headed in the right direction but belfry sets the bar really high.

I'm not shocked by this score. Think about it, last year we go toe to toe with em in the regular season then we get pounded in the postseason then the same thing this year. Coach Haywood knows what he is doing and I think he knows how hard it is to keep a very good team hungry especially against a team you already beat in the regular season. You can't convince me that if team A plays team B very close then a few weeks down the road Team B puts a running clock on team A like thay don't belong on the same field. The only way that should happen is if team A is either not improving or getting worse. Coach Haywood always has his eyes on the prize(Bowling Green) and I don't think he ever worries about his regular season record like a lot of coaches do. At this point in time Belfry just has to much speed, size, depth and talent for Lawrence County to compete with...........will that change and are the Bulldogs slowly starting to catch up............I don't know but I would've liked to seen us close the gap a little more from last year to now. Congrats Belfry on the win and I hope you get a chance to stick it to Central but it looks to me like it may be the Warren team the way they are playing.

Anyone have any info on Corbett and Woolum for Belfry? Did not get to see the game this week and stats have not been posted yet on KHSAA. I was curious to know if Corbett would return to play QB when he gets healthy but with only 2 games left I would hate to see Belfry get out of rhythm. Of course Haywood obviously knows what he is doing with whatever decisions that he makes.

From what I have heard Corbett is healthy but Taylor is the QB for the remainder of the season. I see great things for Noah the next 2 years.
