The playoffs begin on Friday. How far can your team go? Can they bring home a state title? Who knocks them out, or who has the best chance of ending your team's playoff run?

I like the path Belfry has to a potential regional final with Lawrence County, but it is one game at a time. I have really not decided who I think they may face if they get to the semis. My best bet is Garrard or Russell, but who knows.

We can't count out Estill co. In the other bracket. They beat Garrard by 4 this season and Bourbon beat Estill by 10. I look for a second round match up between Estill and Russell and then bourbon and Garrard. Then We have to look at the matchup bourbon and Garrard had. Garrard won than one handily. I'm gonna say as long as belfry can make it to state semis by getting by lawrence it will be a Estill and Belfry state semi. But it's just my opinion.

Belfry ends lc season. I hope not but lc gave an injured belfry team their best shot. Plus I dont see belfry playing another horrible first half. Lc getting better but not ready for the big time and that's a honest as it comes.

Belfry doesn't loose until Semis or State in my opinion. I do believe whoever the Pirates face in the semis will be more battle tested than Belfry.
The Pirates should run through the Regional finals with 2+ TD wins over Jackson, PCC, and LC (my guesses). Their counterpart will have to come from a region with at least 4 legit contenders for the east. A team like Bourbon would have to beat Fleming, Garrard and then Estill or Russell, heck they all have a rough path comparably with only Russell and Garrard having what should be easy first round wins

Belfry walks to Region Final period. Realistically all the way to state finals.

If they get healthy, no one in 3A realistically looks forward to playing them in a win or go home game.

As for Pikeville, I taking it one game at a time. But realistically, toughest challenge shouldnt be until Regional if they are fortunate to get that far.

Well by all accounts....South Warren...PT is battle tested but SW front 7 are ridiculous. Plus it will be at their place and they are still mad about last year. PT still has done well with 35 kids , anew coach, and no size.
