Rankings are as useless as my sun screen in Alaska. We won our district. We are hosting playoffs, and we are improved from last year. To say that we are not even top 20 is a insult and frankly disrespectful. I understand how you would think our district is weak, but we in Letcher Co are excited and looking forward to hosting playoffs. Go Cougars.

C'mon man with the whole "disrespectful" thing. Seriously?

Letcher Central lost to Pike Central.... AT HOME.

No offense but when your best non-district win is 0-9 Somerset it is veyr fair to say they aren't a Top 15 team.

Take the 10 teams listed... add in Grayson County, Scott, Graves Co, Anderson Co, Hopkinsville, MadSouth, Cooper, and Greenwood.Those are 18 teams that I think all have better resumes. That would put them at 19 and I think Conner, Shelby Co, and maybe even Barren Co even have an argument.

There is no disrespect... just calling it like it is.

I agree. even if not top 10 they at least have to be close.

You're leaving out Whitley, Harlan, and Perry, and Lecher. I wouldn't want to go against any of them teams in the playoffs

If Harris for Mad. Southern is back it wouldn't surprise me to see that entire district swept.

I heard that the College's that are recruiting him for next year (UK, Alabama and Ohio State) all said.....'DO NOT PLAY' the rest of this season! So, it is not going to matter for the future for him & sure not worth getting hurt worse and messing things up down the road IMO to play any games this year! He needs to completely heal! :truestory:

Sunscreen could actually be useful in Alaska depending on UV exposure. Nothing to do with heat. So therefore your argument is immediately flawed. 😊

I'm with the majority here. Congrats to the cougars for winning the district but that district is down this year. A first round win for any team in the district depends on if Harris plays or not
