What happened with Joplin? Did he discover that the academics at Belfry were not what he was led to believe? That was the reason given for him transferring, wasn't it?
As far as him being immediately eligible at Mingo Central is probably due to the fact that he had never moved. According to BGR experts this should make him automatically eligible.

I'm happy for Pikeville.
I've read everything on here.
But honestly I think it's a fluke win.
Gotta call a spade a spade.

Wow ! The stats don't lie man, and when you are 5-0 against their schedule that isn't a fluke either. Accept the loss and move on, more games to play.

Every damn play...chop down those trees boys.... I guess up/downs actually do have some merit!
Even more maddening to watch it is every single time it was completely legal it appears. There is never a Belfry player engaged in a block when someone else cuts him down.
Also #11 Slone played a whale of a game for Pikeville.
Serious question because I wont even pretend to know enough to answer. How do you correct your offense to that? Have the linemen not even fire off the ball? Pull guards and tackles so they dont get cut and you can overload a side?
Its quite simple.

I appreciate the Pikeville fans liking each others posts..
But it was a fluke. Flukes happen every now and then, it's ok.

All these people trolling on Belfry have made it less fun for me to troll them, so I'll just say this. I'm sure Belfry will be fine. They won the state title in 2003, 2004, and 2013 in this system and were just a few close losses away from having double that in this decade. I'm sure they will be fine. Unlike many Belfry teams that usually start slow under Haywood, this team came right out of the gate. Teams like that will have a slip up from time to time. While they seemed to have a bad night, Pikeville looks to be clicking on all cylinders right now. Belfry will be a tough out in the tournament and I would have a hard time believing that they won't have a great shot at a title.
